Can some of the Guru here please help me?

I have a 2003 Airtrek with 89970017 ECU. I can read ecu and log ok but the definition .xml is no good. I am using the 1.3 tactrix cable.

Can i flash my ECU to 89970010? My ecu is mitsukernalocp and 010 is mitsukernal... is it a problem? I dont want to kill my ECU!

Могу ли я зарядить свой ECU до 89970010? Мой ecu - mitsukernalocp, а 010 - mitsukernal ... это проблема? Я не хочу убивать свой ЭКЮ!

Да вроде нет проблем с заливкой 010

You can safely write 80700010 or 89970010 to your ecu.
Flashmethod doesn't tied to firmware id, but to ecu itself.
If you can only download your rom with mitsukernelocp use it also for all other roms. Edit flashmethod in read_evo7 GTA.xml for reading and in corresponding rom xml (80700010.xml, 89970010.xml) for writing.
You can find ecuflash with needed xmls here: viewtopic.php?p=348#p348
Also there are 80700010 roms for typical setups, including one for full stock.

I changed the read method to mitsukernalocp and it flash 89970010 correctly!

Now i can actually start to tune -thankyou!
